Those who remained loyal to the Bishop and the Episcopal cause separated from the Parish Church and, inbuilt a chapel on the site now occupied by St Andrew’s Church. The list of former clergy at Banff provided in the Scottish Episcopal Church Yearbook of indicates that the Revd Alexander Murray came to Banff in and demitted.
